Since the establishment of Department of Clinical Epidemiology with three employees in 2000, the department has grown to be one of the world’s internationally leading research departments within clinical epidemiology. The department offers consultancy services to health authorities as well as to the pharmaceutical and biotech industries. Our research is focused on prevention, diagnostics and treatment and related areas such as biostatistics, evidence-based medicine, e-health and informatics as well as traditional research and quality assessments. Approximately 100 people are affiliated with the department.
